The CTF hires one full-time paid intern for the fall semester (September-December), one intern for the winter semester (January-April) and two interns for the summer (May-August) to work in our Ottawa office.

Our internship program offers post-secondary students and recent graduates the unique opportunity to work alongside our federal communications director and our research director, conducting research and advocacy work.

Past interns have worked on various research and communications projects that have resulted in local and nation-wide releases and media coverage, including:

MP/MLA pension calculations
Municipal Ratepayers Guide
Ontario’s Blended Sales Tax
Federal election candidate reimbursements
